The Trouble for Sanjay Nirupam
I remember (roughly a year back), that NDTV had invited Mr. Sanjay Nirupam and Mr. Lalu Prasad Yadav for a debate. It started a friendly debate, but slowly turned into a slug fest.
Sanjay Nirupam and Lalu Prasad Yadav went at it, hammer and tongs right on TV, and LIVE. The main problem is that Sanjay Nirupam is a Bihari, who has been staying in Mumbai, toeing the Shiv Sena line, i.e., jobs in Maharashtra only for Maharashtrans!
So the debate got very heated and Lalu Prasad Yadav warned Sanjay Nirupam against ever stepping into Bihar again, calling him a traitor. Now that Sanjay Nirupam is no longer with the Shiv Sena, where is he to go? And his long time association with the Shiv Sena would certainly not have earned him any friends in other parties, and that includes the BJP (because of the alleged rumours that he was going to the public with the Reliance and Promod Mahajan nexus).
So where does he go now?
He certainly can't return to Bihar, because Lalu is not one to forget easily.
And he can't stay in Maharashtra because of the ominous way in which he exited from the Sena.
Either way, its a long, hard road ahead for the ex-Bihar resident, ex-Sena member.

Unfortunately, the current political situation in the country is deplorable and that led me to vent my frustrations.
